Carter, the nation’s 39th president, lives a fairly normal — and frugal — life, according to The Washington Post

The home, in rural Plains, Georgia (about a 2½-hour drive south of Atlanta) is a two-bedroom ranch assessed at just $167,000.

Wow, Vr sad news coming out of Georgia about one of our country’s former presidents.  Jimmy Carter was the President of the USA like 80 years ago and now apparently he is living in a dump (Georgia)?? And to make it worse he has a dumpy house there worth 167k? Apparently he has squandered all of his riches and is living essentially in poverty.

Carter has also been known to buy his clothes at his local Dollar General store.

Het gets his CLOTHES at the Dollar General Store lol? Have you ever been in a dollar store? Do they have clothes there? No I’m seriously asking you guys I have no idea if they have clothes there. I’ve been in a dollar store briefly before but only as part of a minor pyramid scheme that panned out decently depending on your level within the pyramid. But to shop in a store for clothes that is designated for party favors I think? What is he wearing like party-napkins taped together. No I’m seriously asking you guys what is he wearing from that store.

Carter’s frugal tendencies include spending weekends dining with neighbors on paper plates with bargain-brand wine, the Post says. In addition, it says he and wife Rosalynn make their own yogurt.

Yogurt sucks but that transcends socio-economic statuses. But apparently eats it off paper plates? Which is actually bad for the environment but I don’t want to get those Climate Change fake news truthers on my back.

But what is “bargain-brand” wine? There is a gas-station down the street from me that has shelves that are filled with auto-accessories, oil, jars of anti-freeze, and literally right next to them are these milk gallon jugs full of “wine.” I mean you could literally easily mistake these jugs for oil they are almost identical in look and texture/moisture/grapes/etc. and actually I think they can serve as a low-grade oil for the more adventorous or for those with vision problems in the shopping aisle albeit mistakenly. This has gotten a little off topic but its important because our country’s 7th President is potentially drinking car oil that he thinks is wine.

In fact, Carter, 93, still lives in the ranch house he built himself in 1961.

He built his own house? Hmm. Nobody knows how to build houses themselves, that is insane. I don’t want to call him a liar because it would refute the impeccable reputation and tarnish the of truth of our highest office and other presidents like Crooked Bill Clinton or President Stormy Trump etc. But who can really build their own house? Where do you get wood and glue and tractors. Perhaps at the Dollar Store? No I’m asking can you get a tractor at a dollar store. I really need to spend more time there it had a lot of aisles I might have missed.

But fancy living is not Carter’s style. Instead, the 2002 Nobel Peace Prize winner says, “It just never had been my ambition to be rich.”

Well mission accomplished lol. Keeping your goals hilariously low is an underrated way of being “successful.” Can’t be disappointed if you never aspire to do anything. Its my ambition to go outside once this month.

If you feel guilty about all of this you can donate to his charity that he has spent countless hours helping & serving others check out Habitat for Humanity.
